Classroom Teachers
Qualifications & Expectations:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, (Early Childhood, Elementary or Secondary) or in a related field such as linguistics, bilingual and cultural education or sociology

  • Classroom experience teaching Greek language, culture, and traditions at the Pre-K through middle school level ​

  • Greek fluency and English proficiency 

  • Effective oral and written communication skills​

  • The passion to promote the Greek language, culture and traditions, a love of teaching children, and the desire to collaborate with colleagues!

Classroom Assistants and Substitutes

Qualifications:
​
  • Ability to assist lead teacher with academic instruction of the Greek language, culture and traditions within the classroom

  • Related experience working with children in a group setting

  • Basic knowledge of the Greek language

  • Desire to share the love of our Greek language and heritage with our students!​​​
